Auctions
We hold weekly sales of modern household furniture and effects on a Thursday afternoon in our auction Hall.
This is an excellent opportunity, particularly for young people setting up for the first time, to acquire good, quality items of furniture and appliances at a reasonable cost. Items are on view the Wednesday afternoon and evening prior to the sale as well as on the morning of the sale.
The auctioneers will only be too pleased to give estimates of prices and also to bid on anyones behalf should they not be able to attend the sale.
Special auctions are held 2 or 3 times a year.
Our auction room is located at: 8 Doncaster Road, Scunthorpe.

Entering Items into the Sale
Items taken into the Saleroom Fridays 8.00am - 12 noon or 2.00 - 4.00pm. Also the following Tuesday 2.00 - 4.00pm.
It is recommended that items are booked in prior to arrival by telephoning Scunthorpe (01724) 858855.
Commissions
charge for selling is 25%.
Collection for larger items and house clearances can be arranged at an extra charge. Proceeds can be collected the Tuesday following the sale from the office on the first floor above the Saleroom. Cheque for larger amounts can be sent by arrangement.
Antique Auctions
Usually held two or three times a year. Same address and times as ordinary sales. Appropriate items can be stored for a suitable sale.
Adverts
The Tuesday edition of the Scunthorpe Evening Telegraph gives details of items in the following Thursdays sale. Antique sales are advertised in a wider area as well as the Evening Telegraph.
Commission / Reserves
Commission bids accepted at all sales at no extra charge. Reserves accepted on lots by agreement with the Auctioneer. If an item does not reach its reserve it is held over for the following sale, no charge is made if items do not reach the reserve and are withdrawn.
There is a buyers premium of 12.50% on all lots.
